This is an exciting time for consumer law with many changes underway as the regulation of the digital environment has become a priority. This module examines the latest developments in the UK and in other jurisdictions, such as the EU. From dark patterns to regulation of very large online platforms to online contracts, this module aims to get students to critically engage with the latest digital business practices and the regulatory responses.
