Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas, Head of the Department of Law and Professor of European Criminal Law, and Niovi Vavoula, Postgraduate Research Student, from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), are co-organising a panel at the Cities of Welcome, Cities of Transit Conference, 14-15 July in Barcelona, Spain. Their panel will discuss 'The EU, Turkey, and human rights'.
Cities of Welcome, Cities of Transit is a conference that seeks to bring together academics, practitioners, policy makers and activists in order to exchange insights, extend networks and produce recommendations for the safe and orderly governance of migration in ways that foreground human dignity.
