QMUL Criminal Justice Centre held its third Annual Criminal Justice Conference on Anti-Corruption with Renmin University of China

Criminal Justice Centre (CJC), Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) held its third annual conference on Criminal Justice, organised jointly with the Criminal Justice Centre of Renmin University (Beijing, China), 11-12 September 2015. The first conference took place at Renmin University in October 2013 and focused on the different crime problems and legal regulations in the area of organised crime in China and Europe. Last year's follow-up conference brought together experts from China and Europe to discuss the impact of fraud and money laundering, and more generally financial crime, on national, regional and international economies. This year's conference in Beijing focused on anti-corruption strategies in different parts of the world and was attended by speakers from the UN, China, Russia and the EU. Speakers from Queen Mary included Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas, Mr Rudi Fortson QC, Dr Saskia Hufnagel and Mr Anton Moiseienko.
