The Criminal Justice Centre at the School of Law at Queen Mary University of London is pleased to present the Annual Lecture of the Criminal Justice Centre, with Professor David Ormerod QC, Law Commissioner for Criminal Law and Evidence, Law Commission (England and Wales).
The title of the lecture is: 'Codification: The Sentencing Experience'.
A drinks reception will follow the lecture for those in attendance.
Professor David Ormerod QC is Law Commissioner for England and Wales. He is seconded from University College London. He is a door tenant at 18 Red Lion Court and a bencher of Middle Temple. He co-authors Smith and Hogan’s Criminal Law and is the editor in chief of Blackstone’s Criminal Practice and the Criminal Law Review. In 2013, he was appointed QC (honoris causa). Previously, Professor Ormerod was a Professor of Criminal Justice at Queen Mary, University of London.
