Undergraduate Law Degree Programmes

All our LLB programmes meet Bar Council and Law Society requirements if you wish to go onto qualify as a solicitor or barrister.

  • M100 LLB Law
    This three-year LLB is an excellent option for students pursuing a legal career or with a general interest in law.
  • M101 LLB Law Senior Status
    The two-year LLB is an accelerated version of the three-year course, for non-law graduates of an approved university.
  • M105 LLB Global Law
    This four-year LLB in Global Law provides the opportunity to spend your third year studying at one of a number of law faculties around the world.
  • M120 LLB English and European Law
    This four-year LLB in English and European Law provides the opportunity to spend your third year studying at one of a number of European law faculties.
  • M1L1 LLB Law and Climate Justice
    This three-year LLB in Law and Climate Justice programme is designed to prepare law students with an interest in using their skills to address climate change and social justice causes.
  • ML13 LLB Law and Politics
    This three-year programme is a mix of law and politics modules.
  • M1N1 LLB Law with Business
    This three-year programme is a mix of law and business modules.
  • M106 LLB English and French Law
    This four-year LLB is run jointly with Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. The first two years build your knowledge of the English legal system in London, and your third and fourth years are spent in Paris studying French and international law. Upon graduation students will have the knowledge and skills needed to practice law in France, England and Wales.

Placement year option

This four-year programme is not available to apply directly to via UCAS. You should apply for any of the above LLB programmes, and you will have the opportunity to make an internal application to transfer onto this course at the end of your second year of study.

Modules

Your compulsory modules give you a comprehensive understanding of key areas of the law and legal concepts. We also offer a host of optional modules including animal law, criminology, human rights, company law and intellectual property.
