Academic Skills Centre drop-in sessions

The Academic Skills team run several different drop-in sessions - some online and some in person - throughout the week. You can use these sessions to ask one of our advisers a question relating to your studies at a time that is convenient for you, and there's no need to book!

We have several drop-in sessions you can attend...

If you are looking for support with academic writing, reading, presentation skills, preparing for exams, planning, time management and structuring your work you can come to one of our in-person drop-in sessions. The sessions run in the Mile End Library Seminar Room

Drop-ins are every week on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm in the Mile End Library Seminar Room.

If you are looking for support with maths, statistics, or data analysis you can come to one of our in-person drop-in sessions. The sessions run in both the Mile End and Whitechapel libraries.

If you are in S&E or HSS (so based at Mile End) and you are looking for support with literature sarch skills you can come to one of our in-person drop-in sessions.

These sessions are open to anyone wishing to improve their information skills, including all Queen Mary staff and students in the Faculties of Science and Engineering and Humanitites and Social Sceinces.

The medical libraries are currently running drop-in Literature Search Skills sessions online on Wednesday afternoons between 2pm and 4pm.

These sessions are open to anyone wishing to improve their information skills including all Queen Mary staff and students in the healthcare professions.
