BLSA Malta is a student-led organisation that represents students at Queen Mary, Malta Campus and is the hub of student-led activity.
The association is run by students voted into positions each academic year. The Student Presidents lead the society with support from their committee of officers with differing roles of responsibilities. The committee work together throughout the year to discuss issues facing students as well as ways of improving student experience whilst acting as a communication bridge with the university.
Barts and the London Students’ Association Malta work alongside the BLSA based in London too. They collaborate in setting up and managing societies such as Afro-Caribbean Society, Clinical Skills Society and several Sports societies such as Cricket and Tennis.
Throughout the year the association organises many events such as Freshers Week, the Halfway Ball and seasonal events to allow a space for students from all years to come together and enjoy. They also welcome in new students by looking out for their welfare through providing guidance on settling into Gozo and managing studies.
