LGBTQ+ Society

We are a judgement free society, providing a welcoming, accepting and supportive environment for all LGBTQ+ members. This is a safe space, where all genders and sexual minorities are welcome!

What we do:

- Provide a safe space for all LGBTQ+ students, offering meetings, socials and confidential support sessions.

- Foster a better understanding of LGBTQ+ people within the university, helping build a more welcoming, accepting and supportive campus.

- Promote awareness of the contributions of queer people to society and the issues affecting LGBTQ+ people.

Events encapsulate regular socials, including cultural film nights showcasing quintessentially queer cinema; lectures and discussion events from LGBTQ+ figures, as well as many more fun-filled events! Our society works to ensure that the student experience and curriculum at BL Malta are LGBTQ+ friendly, additionally liaising regularly with LGBTQI+ Gozo and queer groups across Malta, in order to grow our community and strengthen our support network.
