Why did you choose to pursue Financial Computing?
I chose to pursue Financial Computing to further my studies in the field of mathematics with a focus on concepts relevant to the financial industry.
What do you enjoy about your degree?
I get a lot of exposure to practical solutions in computing labs to real problems in the industry. This is something I really enjoy about my degree.
If you were to give advice to other students who are thinking of applying for this programme, what would you say?
Be prepared to come across challenging mathematical concepts and learn a whole bunch of coding.
What are your career interest and aspirations, following graduation?
I am currently looking to start an actuarial role in the City upon completion of my MSc.
