From 2014 to 2020 I was chair of the undergraduate exam board, and from 2018 to 2020 I was head of the Algebra and Number Theory group. My research interests are in algebra and combinatorics, stemming mainly from the representation theory of the symmetric group in prime characteristic, and the associated combinatorics of integer partitions. I hold an MA and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. I started at QMUL in 2004, but from 2006-2008 was a visiting postdoctoral fellow at MIT, supported by a fellowship from the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851.ResearchPublications Fayers M, Kleshchev A, Morotti L (2024).
