Queen Mary will be opening its doors to the public later this month as part of the week-long festival Inside Out, which is organised by the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange.
The event, Is Creativity Predictable (enough)?, will take place at the Arts Building at Queen Mary University of London in Mile End from 6.30-9pm on Thursday, October 22.
It will be a public discussion about creation and prediction, bringing together researchers, academics, industrialists, artists, engineers, technologists and policy makers from across the technology and creative sectors. With such a range of knowledge-bases, it is anticipated that the discussion will rouse a variety of exciting topics.
The event will also include various art and technology demonstrations by artists and researchers from the Centre for Digital Music, Interaction Media and Communication and the Computer Vision group.
London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange (LCACE) is a consortium of nine universities. It was established in 2004 to foster collaboration and to promote and support the exchange of knowledge between the consortium’s partners and London’s arts and cultural sectors. The programme aims to promote and increase greater links between the cultural sector and higher education institutions in London.
