Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has been rated first in the UK for Dentistry and fourth for Medicine in the Complete University Guide 2015 subject league tables, published today.
QMUL’s Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry has made a significant leap forward this year, with Dentistry jumping from 11th place in the Complete University Guide 2014, to top place in the latest table. Medicine has also jumped three places from seventh place last year.
Several other subjects at QMUL also appear in the UK top 10, including Drama, which is ranked 2nd out of 94 universities offering the course. Law is up from 17th to 10th, Linguistics is rated 8th and Russian / East European Languages 7th.
The Complete University Guide is compiled from Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) data on university entry standards, student-staff ratios, spending on academic services, spending on facilities, good honours degrees, graduate prospects, completion and overseas student enrolments.
