Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has entered into a new student exchange agreement with Columbia University in the City of New York for the 2017-18 academic year.
The agreement allows QMUL students to spend a single semester or a whole academic year studying at Columbia University. Students can study modules across Columbia University with the academic credit contributing towards their QMUL degree.
Columbia University is the latest addition to QMUL’s existing portfolio of 10 exchange partners throughout the Unites States and 22 internationally, in addition to 77 partners in Europe.
Ceri Bevan, Head of Global Opportunities at QMUL, said: “New York is one of the greatest cities in the world to be a student and this exciting new partnership will give our students the opportunity to experience studying and living in two truly global cities: London and New York. The opportunity will further allow QMUL to prepare our students for global citizenship and a global workplace.”
