The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London has joined forces with the OC Academy, an Indian-based upskilling online platform for medical professionals, to offer online Postgraduate Diploma programmes in India.
Queen Mary already attracts many Indian students wanting to study at a Russell Group university, and this new state-of-the-art digital education programme will further broaden access to world-class healthcare education.
The new agreement between Queen Mary and OC Academy was signed at the UK-India Healthcare Trade Mission in Mumbai on 7 December at a meeting with Harjinder Kang, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner (South Asia) and British Deputy High Commissioner, Western India, and Professor Sir Stephen Powis, National Medical Director for NHS England, Professor Richard Grose, Dean for Global Engagement, and Professor Chie Adachi, Dean for Digital Education, Queen Mary University of London, and Mr Balu Ramachandran, Founder and CEO of OC Academy
