Queen Mary University of London celebrates the redevelopment of its longest-running degree apprenticeship programme, the Digital and Professional Solutions Professional (DTSP).
Launched in 2015, the DTSP programme has been revamped to meet the evolving needs of employers and align with the new degree apprenticeship standard. This exciting development also includes the creation of five new teaching positions to support the programme's growth.
The programme will now offer four distinct pathways: Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and IT Consultant. This expansion reflects the increasing demand for skilled professionals in these critical tech and business areas.
We're thrilled to announce that the DTSP programme will welcome its largest cohort yet this year. This growth is fueled by partnerships with industry leaders like Amazon, Bloomberg, and Reply.
QMUL is actively seeking passionate educators to join the DTSP team. These new Teaching and Scholarship (T&S)/Teaching and Professional Practice (T&PP) roles will focus on developing and delivering specialised modules for each programme pathway.
"We are excited to expand the DTSP programme and offer even more opportunities for students to gain valuable industry skills alongside their academic qualifications. The new teaching positions will play a crucial role in ensuring the programme's continued success," says Professor Christopher Bray, Dean for Education at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
