The Disability and Dyslexia Service offers support for all students with disabilities, specific learning differences and mental health diagnoses at Queen Mary.
If you have declared a disability on either your UCAS application or another alternative application, the Disability and Dyslexia Service will automatically contact you by email. This message will let you know how they can help support you throughout your studies and how you can make an appointment with a Disability Adviser to discuss your support needs.
If you're interested in accessing exam arrangements such as additional time, make sure that you contact the Disability and Dyslexia Service to find out how Examination Access Arrangements work at Queen Mary. Have you applied for a Disabled Students’ Allowance to support you through your studies? If you would like more information about this, or support with your application please make an appointment with a Disability Adviser. If the Student Loan Company assesses you as having a low household income, Queen Mary can subsidise £200 towards the cost of computer equipment that you might otherwise have to pay for yourself!
