International Student Welcome

Welcome to Queen Mary, we are so glad you are here!

Here you will find out about events and information sessions taking place during Welcome Week, but be sure to also check out the information pages we have created for you!

International Student Success Module

Once you’ve received your Queen Mary IT credentials (email address and password) you will be able to log in and complete the International Student Success module on QMPlus. This will help you prepare for student life in the UK, familiarise yourself with the support services available at Queen Mary and make the most of your time at university.

Welcome sessions for international students

Are you an international student joining Queen Mary in January? Come along to our induction event on Wednesday 15th January, 10am-12.30pm, in the Peston lecture theatre (Graduate Centre):

  • 10am-11am: Essential information for international students
  • 11-11.30am: break (refreshments available in the foyer)
  • 11.30am-12.30pm: Working during your studies as an international student
