Are you ready to boost your wellbeing and have a fantastic time? Join us at the Wellbeing Fair, open to ALL students!
The Wellbeing Fair will be an opportunity for you to come and take part in some fun wellbeing activities such as creating your own smoothies using a bike, meditation, taking part in hula hoops sessions and crafts as well as find out lots of information about important topics that may affect your wellbeing and the support available.
What can you expect at the Wellbeing Fair?
Active Zone: Join in a range of fun activities and learn more about the Students’ Union Get Active programmes and the on-campus gym QMotion. Take part in free hula hooping sessions!
Craft Zone: Relax and unwind - meet other students and craft some cool creations to take home.
External Health & Wellbeing Services: Meet various health, wellbeing, and safety services in the local area including: James Place, ELOP, RESET, Talking Therapies, Social Action for Health, Positive East, Met police and Tower Hamlets Hates crime prevention. Ask questions, find guidance, and learn where to go to get support.
Internal Health and Wellbeing Services, we also have our university services here to guide and support you: Advice and Counselling Services, Report and Support, Student Health Service, Buddy Scheme, , Residential welfare, SU Sustainability and Chaplaincy. Chaplaincy will offer 3 short Meditation Intro Sessions at the Chapel during the afternoon at 1, 2 and 3pm.
Freebies: Of course there is no fair without snacks, treats, and giveaways! We will be giving away free ice creams from our lovely ice cream van on campus, and an opportunity to make your own smoothies while cycling!!
Location: The Nest - Mile End Campus, a mix of outdoor and indoor locations. Follow the signs, and if in doubt, ask a friendly Student Ambassador!
