The University’s degrees are awarded under the quality assurance of the UK and, like other officially UK-accredited diplomas, the postgraduate degrees awarded by Queen Mary in Paris are recognised as comparable to the French BAC+5.
Since France does not practice foreign diploma recognition but diploma comparison, delivering “attestation de comparabilité” (a certificate of comparability) in application of the Lisbon convention on international diploma equivalency Queen Mary’s degrees in France are not French issued diplomas. A comparability attestation can be delivered on a case-by-case basis by the student applying to the French accrediting body ENIC-NARIC.

Like Queen Mary, the University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP) is part of the federation of the University of London. The two institutions have been working in partnership for some years, with ULIP hosting Queen Mary’s taught postgraduate programmes in Law.
