In that same month Terence O'Neill, leader of an increasingly divided Unionist Party, called a General Election in Northern Ireland. Currie ran as a Nationalist Party candidate for East Tyrone in this election. In this interview he discusses the potential future unity of nationalist parties in Northern Ireland.
