Video interview with Billy Hutchinson, PUP MLA for Belfast North, by Juliet Bremner for ITN on 5 July 2000. Earlier the Parades Commission had ruled that an Orange Order parade could not return from Drumcree to Portadown via the mainly nationalist Garvaghy Road. Between 2 and 4 July rioting broke out between loyalist protesters and the security forces over the issue while several cars were hijacked and torched in Belfast. Hutchinson discusses the outbreaks of violence.
