Audio interview with callers to the Nolan Show by Stephen Nolan for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show on 25 October 2013. Six days earlier Gerry Kelly had launched his new book ‘The Escape’, an account of the Maze/Long Kesh prison escape of 25 September 1983. The publication was also released close to the twentieth anniversary of the Shankill bombing. Kelly had been criticised within some circles for his participation in a public commemoration for the Shankill bomber Thomas Begley. Earlier that day a Stephen Nolan interview with Gerry Kelly was broadcast. Callers react to the interview and Kelly’s book. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
