The programme documents the inter-community engagement of members of both the Catholic and Protestant communities in border areas. Interviewees offer honest, detailed accounts of inter-communal activities in their area and the effect these have on the broader peace process. These interviews are part of week five of this broadcast series subtitled Borders. This radio series explores the work of grassroots organisations seeking to promote cross community reconciliation in Northern Ireland through dialogue, recreational activities and local initiatives.
