Three days later the British and Irish governments published Framework Documents outlining proposals for a future peace agreement and representative government in Northern Ireland. Speaking ahead of its public release, Trimble sets out his party's opposition to the document as a basis for all-party talks. On the Record was BBC's flagship political programme.
