Audio interview with George Hamilton (Assistant Chief Constable in the PSNI), Gerry Kelly (Sinn Fein MLA for Belfast North) and Mike Nesbitt (leader of the UUP) by Stephen Nolan for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show on 20 May 2013. Over the previous three days talks were held in Wales between members of the PSNI, politicians and community leaders on the issue of tensions around parading. These talks were organised by the PSNI in co-operation with the University of Ulster in an attempt to prevent the trouble of the flag protests in late 2012/early 2013 recurring during the marching season. The interviewees discuss the potential impact of these discussions on community tensions. The Nolan Show is BBC Radio Ulster’s daily current affairs programme.
