Video interview with Gerry Adams, president of Sinn Féin, by Anthony Clare for ITV The Anthony Clare Interview in August 1995. On 31 August 1994 the Provisional IRA announced a military ceasefire leading to peace talks in Northern Ireland. In this interview Adams discusses the stability of this ceasefire. Six months later, on 9 February 1996, the Provisional IRA ended their ceasefire detonating a bomb in the London docklands which killed 2 and injured 40. Anthony Clare was an Irish psychiatrist who interviewed well known public figures for current affairs programmes.
