Video interview with Gerry Adams, president of Sinn Féin, by Charlie Rose for PBS Charlie Rose on 17 March 1995. The Provisional IRA and Combined Loyalist Military Command announced military ceasefires on 31 August 1994 and 13 October 1994 respectively. Meanwhile on 22 February 1995 the British and Irish governments published Framework Documents for a future peace agreement and representative government in Northern Ireland. In this interview Adams discusses the possibility of the republican movement engaging in future peace talks. Charlie Rose is an American interview-style programme on PBS. This is the first part of a two part interview.
