On 2 April 2011, Ronan Kerr, a Catholic police constable in the PSNI, was killed by a car bomb outside his home in Killyclogher near Omagh. Dissident republicans later claimed responsibility for the attack. Gerry Adams is interviewed two days after the murder and condemns the actions of those responsible.
