On 31 August the Provisional IRA had also announced a cessation of military activities. On 13 December a two day investment conference took place in Belfast although Sinn Féin representatives were excluded from the event. In this interview Major discusses the potential for economic investment in Northern Ireland following these developments in the Peace Process.
