Audio interview with John Stevenson (a member of the centenary parade committee), Trevor Ringland (Vice-Chairman for the Northern Ireland Conservatives) and Chris Lyttle (Alliance Party MLA for Belfast East) by Stephen Nolan for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show on 30 April 2013. In that same month UVF commemoration flags were placed along streets in East Belfast for a 1913 Commemorative Parade on 20 April. As of the end of that month some of these flags had not been taken down prompting public complaints. Stevenson, Ringland and Lyttle discuss the potential impact of commemorative events on contemporary politics in Northern Ireland. The Nolan Show is BBC Radio Ulster’s daily current affairs programme.
