Transcript of an interview with John Taylor, former Minister of State at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Northern Ireland, for RTE Radio and published in the Irish Times on 17 July 1972. In February of that year Taylor survived an assassination attempt by members of the Official IRA, although he suffered serious injuries. One month later legislative power for Northern Ireland was transferred from Stormont to Westminster.
