Transcript of an interview with Martha Pope, former Chief of Staff to George Mitchell, and David Pozorski, former Department of State liaison to George Mitchell, by Brien Williams for the George J. In this interview Pope and Pozorksi discuss Mitchell’s contribution to the Peace Process with particular reference to the issue of decommissioning and the Stormont talks. The George J. Mitchell Oral History Project is a Bowdoin College Library collection of almost two hundred oral and written interviews, documenting the life and career of George Mitchell, with those who knew and worked with him.
