Video interview with Martin McGuinness, deputy First Minister for Northern Ireland, and Michael Mansfield, former lawyer to three families at the Bloody Sunday Inquiry, by Miriam O’Callaghan for RTE Prime Time on 15 June 2010. The Saville Report, published on that date, established that those killed and injured in Derry/Londonderry on Bloody Sunday were innocent victims of British army violence on that day. These conclusions rejected those of the earlier Widgery Report and prompted British Prime Minister David Cameron to issue a public apology for the events of Bloody Sunday. In this interview McGuinness and Mansfield discuss the findings of the Saville Report. Prime Time is a current affairs and investigative programme on RTE.
