McWilliams discusses female participation in the Peace Process and wider civil rights issues in Northern Ireland politics. Civic Voices is an international organisation which promotes civic and democratic participation in society among teachers and students. Its International Democracy Memory Bank Project teaches students how to conduct oral histories on their country’s democratic process.
