On 9 July the Parades Commission ruled that an Orange Order parade could not pass through the Ardoyne area of Belfast on its return journey on 12 July, a decision which led to clashes between protesters and the PSNI in north and east Belfast for several days. McCausland and Kelly discuss the Parades Commission’s ruling and the escalation of violence in Belfast. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
