On the previous evening a BBC/RTE documentary entitled ‘The Disappeared’ was broadcast documenting the history of the ‘disappeared’ and the effects of these abductions, killings and secret burials on the families of the victims. McVeigh discusses the importance of Sinn Fein’s engagement with the ‘disappeared’ issue. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
