Audio interview with Patricia McVeigh, daughter of Patrick McVeigh, a Troubles victim, and Padraig O’Muirigh, solicitor, by Sean O’Rourke for RTE Radio 1 Today With Sean O’Rourke on 21 November 2013. In a BBC Panorama documentary to be broadcast later that night former members of a specially formed unit within the British Army, the MRF, admitted to shooting unarmed civilians in the early 1970s as part of their search for IRA targets. One day previously John Larkin, Northern Ireland Attorney-General, had suggested that an end be brought to all prosecutions, inquests and public enquiries related to the Troubles.
