On 25 March, meanwhile, David Trimble defeated a challenge to his leadership of the UUP by Rev. Martin Smyth, 56.8% to 43.2%. In this interview Mandelson discusses the possibility of a return to devolved government in Northern Ireland and David Trimble's position as leader of the UUP.
