Audio interview with Richard Kemp (former Commanding Officer in the Anglian Regiment of the British Army) and Patricia MacBride (former Victims’ Commissioner) by Stephen Nolan for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show on 22 November 2013. In a BBC Panorama documentary broadcast on the previous night former members of a specially formed unit within the British Army, the MRF, admitted to shooting unarmed civilians in the early 1970s as part of their search for IRA targets. One day previously John Larkin, Northern Ireland Attorney-General, had suggested that an end be brought to all prosecutions, inquests and public enquiries related to the Troubles. Kemp and MacBride discusses the allegations made in the documentary and the wider issues of victims and legacies. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
