On 9 May Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness announced a new strategy for building a shared future entitled ‘Together: Building a United Community’. Among other objectives this strategy proposed the removal of peace walls within ten years. On 14 June David Cameron announced further financial incentives for Northern Ireland if this objective was realised. In this interview Villiers discusses the potential for economic growth and social cohesion under this strategy. Breakfast is BBC’s morning television news programme.
