Video interviews with Rev. Martin Smyth (UUP MP for Belfast South) and David Trimble (designate First Minister of Northern Ireland) for ITN on 23 March 2000. Two days later Trimble was challenged as leader of the UUP by Rev. Martin Smyth. The interviewees outline their views on the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, decommissioning and UUP policy on power-sharing. Trimble subsequently defeated this challenge to his leadership.
