Audio interview with Winston Irvine, member of the North and West Belfast Parades Forum, and Rev. Lesley Carroll, a Presbyterian minister in North Belfast, by Stephen Nolan on 5 September 2012 for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show. Between 2 and 4 September rioting broke out in North Belfast after disagreement between members of nationalist and unionist communities on the parades issue. Missiles thrown at the PSNI during the riots left 62 police officers injured. The interviewees discuss these events and examine their wider implications for the peace process with particular focus on the unionist community.
