Epilogues is a multimedia education programme supported by a dedicated DVD and website. Its purpose is to engage people in the everyday work of peace-building and responsible citizenship. It does this by exploring, within a workshop environment that models democratic process, six key themes that are central to an understanding of violent political conflict: Violence, Loss, Revenge, Forgiveness, Justice and Human Rights. The epilogues DVD, ‘Perspectives in Conflict’, contains the personal testimony of twenty-seven individuals who have had direct experience of the conflict. Also available is an online video containing edited contributions (recorded at an event hosted by Gaslight) and reflections from former participants of the epilogues Workshop Education Programme.

Access:

The Web Site has two core aspects. One part is Open Access: Its public function is to promote the aims and objectives of the project. Its function, as an integral part of the workshop education programme, is to aid participants of the programme in completing specific exercises and questions, necessary for achieving Northern Ireland Open College Network (NIOCN) accreditation.

Secure Access: This section of the site is a participant only secure area with an interactive dimension which enables participants to further explore the project interviewees' stories and the factual details associated with particular incidents they refer to.
