The School's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is the place where policies, procedures, values and behaviours in the School are reviewed to ensure that we have an inclusive environment for all staff and students. We aim to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and embed EDI into the norms and culture of the School.
The Committee is led by two co-chairs, and includes representatives of students, academic staff, and Professional Services staff. It monitors EDI data, oversees the implementation of our Athena Swan Action Plan, and explores ways of making teaching and learning equally accessible to all members of the School. Although the committee has a set membership, staff members / students outside the formal membership are welcome to attend.
If you wish to suggest items for this committee to discuss, please email the Committee Secretary.
