Theresa May faces Andrea Leadsom in the Conservative Party leadership battle. Ballot papers will be sent out to about 150,000 party members before the winner is announced in September. Party managers at Conservative Campaign Headquarters face an initial challenge in identifying everyone who should be sent a ballot paper, according to Professor Tim Bale. He says headquarters will be "furiously" trying to get up-to-date addresses from local party associations who are famously protective of their autonomy.
