The Democratic Unionist Party who prop up Theresa May’s government have warned they cannot support the draft Brexit treaty as a final deal with the EU takes shape. Professor Tim Bale, said: “If they [the DUP] are able to maintain a distinction between their support for a Tory government, on the one hand, and rejection of the deal currently on offer, on the other, then they’re unlikely to fall into line — unless and until it really does look like rejection will automatically see Corbyn handed the keys to Number 10.”
