Lecturer in Latin American Politics and International Development, Dr Angus McNelly, appeared on France 24 to discuss the resignation and exile of former Bolivian President, Evo Morales. Dr McNelly said: “It's important to note that in the process leading up to Evo Morales resignation there were multiple different currents asking for different things. You had a middle class, pro-democracy current, which was supported in the nine departmental capitals and included basically all sectors of the middle classes and the university students.
