Brexiteers warned they risk feeling ‘disappointed’ after David Frost’s trade deal remark

Brexiteers have been told they might be left "disappointed" and may be forced accept a warning from the UK's chief Brexit negotiator David Frost, that Britain may not achieve all of its objectives in a future trade agreement with the European Union. Tim Bale, Professor of Politics at Queen Mary explains: “Brexiteers might be disappointed that David Frost thinks that a lot of objectives won't be achieved in a trade deal with the European Union, but he's only being realistic - no one gets everything they want out of a negotiation, especially if, to use the PM's favourite analogy, they're wanting to have their cake and eat it”.
