Tories should take a tip from Macbeth and be bold. But the party itself is infirm of purpose

Professor Tim Bale has written for the Guardian on how Conservative party detractors of Boris Johnson could delay triggering a vote of no confidence pending the outcome of byelections. He wrote: "Some Westminster watchers are picking up signs that even some of the prime minister’s most determined detractors would prefer to delay things, believing that byelection defeats in Wakefield and in Tiverton and Honiton will convince more MPs to vote to oust him."

This was covered in the Guardian

Ahead of tonight’s no confidence vote in the Prime Minister, Professor Bale has also been interviewed by global media outlets including Bloomberg, Reuters, Associated Press, Monocle and Al Jazeera.
