Through your studies, you’ll develop a sought-after skillset encompassing invaluable political knowledge, research, analytical, and communication skills. Our degrees open doors to a variety of doors, in government, policy research, education, media, and business.  

You can immerse yourself in the world of politics by studying abroad, completing work placements, and taking part in simulation activities.

To support your career aspirations and prepare you for the working environment - whatever route you choose to take - you’ll have access to a dedicated Careers Liaison Tutor within the School, as well as the University’s central Careers and Enterprise team. Careers and Enterprise offers advice and guidance in areas such as work experience and starting your own business. This resource is open to all students for up to two years after graduation.
